Scott Krause formed Krause Transformation LLC to help commercial and federal enterprises transform their organizations to increase efficiency and effectiveness while decreasing risk. His vision, Thriving through business transformation, directs holistic change throughout the organization that will "stick" well after the consulting is through. Scott has more than 30 years of experience providing leadership, program management, risk management, information technology service management (ITSM), strategic planning, and knowledge management expertise. Scott recently served as The Executive Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) He served as a Director for Cisco and PwC in IT Consulting. Previously, Scott served as the DHS Chief of Staff for Management, and provided counsel and leadership on all activities and matters involving homeland security initiatives, operations, and programs to the DHS Under Secretary for Management. Prior to coming to DHS, Scott was assigned as the Director of Staff to the U.S. Air Force’s (USAF) Air and Space Expeditionary Force Center (AEFC), and was previously the Assistant Director of Operations and a C-20/C-37 instructor pilot, commanding the missions for the First Lady, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense, foreign heads of state, and congressional delegations to more than 35 nations. He has served in several USAF Headquarters positions, including operations briefer for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force and executive officer for the Air Force Director of Operations and Training. Scott was commissioned as a Distinguished Graduate from the U.S. Air Force Academy, earning a Bachelor of Science in Astronautical Engineering. He earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix.
