Todd Abrajano is the Founder and President of Turning Point Public Affairs. He has nearly 20 years of experience assisting corporate, non-profit, and political clients with communications needs, political strategy, legislative and regulatory grassroots advocacy, and direct government relations. He also produces dynamic radio, television, and direct mail advertising - scoring victories in numerous candidate and ballot issue campaigns. During the 2016 U.S. Presidential campaign, Todd was retained by the Donald J. Trump for President campaign to serve as the communications director for the battleground state of Missouri which President-elect Trump won by over 19 percentage points on Election Day.During the 2012 election cycle, Todd served as a top communications strategist for two high-profile U.S. Senate campaigns, and worked closely with the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Before founding Turning Point, Todd spent three years as a Vice President at VOX Global, a Washington D.C. based international public affairs firm, where he directed multi-state grassroots programs for a Fortune 10 client. Before joining VOX Global, Todd spent a year and a half at Fleishman-Hillard’s world headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, providing public affairs counseling to Fortune 500 clients in the energy, financial services, and telecommunications industries. While at Fleishman, he was a key member of the team that was awarded PR Week’s 2009 Public Affairs Campaign of the Year award after a successful, multi-year campaign. Prior to joining Fleishman, Todd worked for several years in politics and government, most recently serving as director of communications for the Missouri House of Representatives. In that capacity, he led a non-partisan office of eight communications professionals serving all 163 elected members. In addition to directing the non-partisan activities of the communications office, Todd served as press secretary for the Speaker of the Missouri House and other members of the Missouri House’s Republican majority leadership team, providing strategic counsel and overseeing and implementing communications plans and partisan messaging. In addition to his most recent political campaign clients, Todd has provided strategic and media counsel for the Missouri House Republican Campaign Committee; served as campaign manager and communications director for the Republican nominee in a nationally targeted race for U.S. Congress in 2004; served in a similar capacity for the Republican nominee for Connecticut state treasurer in 2002; and assisted in numerous other local, state, and federal political campaigns. During the 2008 presidential campaign, Todd directed “Spin Room” media relations for the McCain-Palin campaign during the only vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin which was held at Washington University in St. Louis. Todd received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a concentration in international relations from Yale University.
