Additional Comments

the conference is in my field of research and occurred after my teaching was done for the semester the conference waived my registration fee (which I am assuming would have been $, but I am not positive because the conference registration webpage is no longer active) and had my 4 nights of lodging direct billed to them, but did not cover other travel expenses such as airfare CAUSE had my lodging (4 nights at the official conference hotel: $+tax/night = $) billed directly to them and waived what would have been my registration fee (the fee is no longer posted on the conference website, so I don't know what that would have been, but I'll guess $); the conference was part of my activity as an active scholar in the field so this is not an "outside interest" and the money did not impact how I performed my responsibilities for UTEP the conference occurred after my teaching was done for the semester

Notes: When a more specific filing date is not available for an individual financial disclosure or conflict of interest form, we use the year the form was filed. If the year was not disclosed, we report the range of years covered by our public records requests. In a few cases, a start date was provided instead of a filing date. In those cases, we use the start date instead.

Fewer than 10% of records from the University of Florida and fewer than 1% of records from the University of Texas system were removed because they did not contain enough information.

ProPublica obtained additional financial disclosures and conflict of interest forms that we have not yet digitized and added to the database. You can download those disclosures in the ProPublica Data Store.
