After yesterday’s health care ruling, what’s Karl Rove's strategy to repeal Obamacare?

He said it himself, "A couple a million dollars of unanswered TV does wonders." And the Republican pressure groups are now up on tv with $X million in new attacks.

We only have 36 hours to answer.

If you care about defending health care, re-electing President Obama and keeping the Senate in Democratic hands, you have 36 hours to give before the most critical EOQ deadline yet. Anything less means Karl Rove wins, and we lose everything.

Give your $X before midnight tomorrow and the Democratic senators will triple match your gift.

Health care reform hangs in the balance. Republicans will spend endlessly to defeat the President, topple the Democratic Senate, and repeal everything we’ve just achieved.

The American people are counting on us to defend our hard-won victories. We can not let them down.

Roger — In just 24 hours, Mitt Romney's promise to defeat President Obama, take the Senate and repeal health care reform raised him $4.3 million.   We need you to help respond. We’re $250,000 away from our goal with only 24 hours before this FEC deadline. Let’s break Romney's promise and make sure he never gets his hands on the White House, Senate or President Obama's health care reform.   I wouldn’t ask if this wasn’t critically important. The cynics

--

Yesterday, the most cynical voices in the Republican Party -- the ones who

insist on blocking policies just because they're proposed by President

Obama -- did not prevail.

These voices voted against this health care law in Congress. They trashed

it on TV. They battled it all the way to the Supreme Court.

They lost yesterday. But let's not make the mistake of thinking that the

fight is over. Now our opponents' sights are set on one thing: putting Mitt

Romney in the White House. It's the only way they'll be able to roll back

the economic security and protections the Affordable Care Act provides.

The fate of the middle class is now in no one else's hands but yours.

So please step up now and take ownership by making a donation today, before

our critical fundraising deadline:

An emotional moment in the Oval Office

Yesterday I shared an emotional moment with Barack in the Oval Office after he learned health reform had been upheld.

Barack Obama is a man who refused to give up. No matter how politically unpopular it was, he knew it was the right thing to do.

Tomorrow is the biggest fundraising deadline of this election so far. Romney and the Republicans may outraise us again -- you can bet they'll have a whole slew of special interests who want to see Romney make good on his promise to repeal Obamacare on Day One.

But they can't beat us if we pull together. Our grassroots movement is unstoppable when we put our minds to it.

Please donate $X or more today, before the critical deadline:

Obamacare hurts job creators

To view this email as a web page, go here.

Friend,

When President Obama assumed office three years ago, he had a Democrat-controlled House and Senate and ample opportunities to make good on his promises of "hope" and "change."

Instead of focusing on the economy, President Obama decided to make job-killing, big government, $X trillion Obamacare his top priority. The White House "assumed a recovery was under way" and decided that fixing the economy was "no longer their top priority."

Rather than helping job creators, Obamacare hurts job creators:

Obamacare contains the largest tax increase in nearly two decades.

Obamacare will raise taxes by hundreds of billions of dollars over its first 10 years.

Nearly 3/4 of small business owners blame Obamacare for impeding job creation.

Regardless of the Supreme Court's decision on its constitutionality, Obamacare is still bad policy. Obamacare will raise taxes on job creators, send jobs abroad, and hinder small business hiring.

Mitt Romney has his priorities straight. On day one, he will take immediate action to repeal and replace Obamacare with real reform that empowers individuals and frees job creators from the burdens this President has imposed on them.

Mitt Romney will do on his first day in office what the Supreme Court didn't do on the last day of its session. But first, it's up to you to repeal Obamacare by replacing Obama.

Let's hold Barack Obama accountable -- donate $X or more to make him a one-term president:

This is personal

image: Democrats --

In 2007, I heard the words no woman wants to hear: "You have breast cancer."

I remember sitting in the hospital after my surgery, waiting for a test to

come back, wondering how many more birthdays I would get with my kids --

how many more anniversaries I'd get with my husband. I don't care how

strong you are: It's a terrifying moment.

The Supreme Court decision to uphold Obamacare is a big deal for millions

of Americans like me.

But the fight to protect it is far from over.

If elected, Mitt Romney has vowed to repeal it on Day One, and I believe

him.

This fight is personal to me. I want to do everything I can to protect

health care for every American. And I need your help.

Donate $X or more today to make sure Romney and Republicans can't take

away our health

care.

We have an important fundraising deadline tomorrow at midnight, and the

Republican Party will be judging our ability to keep fighting by how much

we raise before that deadline.

When Mitt Romney talks about getting rid of Obamacare, let's take a second

to talk about what that would really mean:

It means children with pre-existing conditions would once again be denied

coverage, some women would lose access to critical preventive care, and

millions of seniors would lose the benefits that help pay for life-saving

medicine.

This law is far too important to too many Americans for Republicans to

throw it out.

Give Democrats the resources we need to win and protect this historic

achievement -- and the lives of millions of Americans. Donate $X or more

The Supreme Court decision yesterday preserving Obamacare is a big deal.

Children with pre-existing conditions can't be denied coverage, women will have access to critical preventive care, and millions of seniors will receive help to make their prescription drugs more affordable.

But the fight is far from over.

Mitt Romney and Republicans across the country are using this decision as a rallying cry for their base. Immediately after the announcement, an outside group bought nearly $X million worth of airtime for anti-Obamacare TV ads in twelve key states.

Romney has promised to repeal health care reform on Day One if elected. What happens in November will determine the fate of health care reform.

Donate $X or whatever you can today to help Democrats have the resources we need to make sure the Affordable Care Act isn't going anywhere.

We know that Romney and the Republicans have some donors with very deep pockets. President Obama will be the first incumbent president in modern history to be outspent. And those donors are doing everything they can to elect Republicans who will repeal this historic legislation.

We can stop them.

If Democrats like us band together to support Obamacare, the President, and other Democratic candidates across the country fighting to protect this law, we will win.

sorry, it's just not enough

--

In our line of work, being correct isn't enough.

We need to back that up with the money to make the case to the voters. And since the Supreme Court's decisions opening the floodgates for anonymous corporate campaign money for the right wing, we are in danger of having the truth drowned out in this election season.

Will you donate $X or more before the mid-year fundraising deadline hits tomorrow at midnight? [url]

This week's news has affirmed the wisdom of the choices we made when the Democrats last controlled Congress:

- The affirmation of the Constitutionality of the health care bill obviously repudiates those who tried to revive discredited Constitutional doctrines from the past to block progress. And it means that the wide number of benefits for millions of people that the bill includes will now be going fully into effect.

- On the front of financial reform, the success of the Commodities Futures Trading Commission CFTC ought to convince even the most rigid down the line defenders of deregulation that financial reform was necessary. This week, the CFTC achieved a $X million settlement with Barclay's Bank because of that institution's illegal manipulation in the derivative area.

So I write to ask you to do what you can to help the DCCC so that we can take back the House from the Tea Party and those who are intimidated by it -- and not just protect the gains of our 2009-2010 legislative work, but build on them.
