@JGreenspaNY @cenkuygur @ChristyforCA25 Rent control has been shown to prevent housing displacement, not the other way around, and smart investors see the value in having steady occupancy in rental units. Without AB1492, rents in some areas would still go up at rates from 10-20% annually, far above average inflation.
