@GOPoversight @RepJamesComer @HouseGOP This amendment was particularly dangerous. Republicans know the Committee has no jurisdiction over the Capitol Police. They also know that adopting this amendment would have jeopardized the entire $1.9 trillion aid package—which was their real purpose.
