Woke up this am to discover @cityofhammond @HammondINPolice officer was involved in a shooting last pm. The incident stemmed from a misdemeanor traffic stop that escalated, endangering officer safety. Thankfully, the suspect’s injuries appear non-fatal & both officers are safe.
