Wishing my friend @EBJ nothing but the best in retirement! Proud to work with her on @HouseScience to pass the #CHIPSandScience Act and supercharge American innovation. Thank you for your service to this country. https://t.co/IY9rIfmB1e
The @NLRB is a pillar for the American economy before corporate politicians drained its funding. More and more workers are fighting to have their voices heard, so this independent agency must have the resources it needs to give people a fair shake. Plain and simple.
Some say we have too much attitude. I say we have personality! The entire point of these public awareness campaigns is to get people to read (not ignore!) the signs and think about driving safe. If we're doing that, that's the problem? @NJGov https://t.co/MpkawlYgPy
Strong words from Erica Furmin at @TheSOC. “As the next holiday shopping season begins, and on behalf of Amazon workers throughout the nation, we demand that Amazon stop denying the dangers, stop opposing OSHA’s interventions, and comply with the orders to fix hazards.” https://t.co/YkgJgv4Sqn
(4/4) Over the past few months, I’ve pushed my colleagues to discuss this issue directly with workers and their employers. We continued that effort tomorrow. I thank Chairman @BobbyScott for his leadership and look forward to getting a better picture of the situation.
(1/4) This summer, @MaketheRoadNJ showed that injury rates at Amazon warehouses in NJ far exceed the industrial average. I discussed this with the @OSHA_DOL Assistant Secretary and led the NJ delegation in calling for a formal investigation. :https://t.co/SYoN6JJcSl https://t.co/dav4ZEIH7V
(2/4) On June 1, I stood with warehouse workers in front of an Amazon facility in Logan Township. Some of them withstood injuries while working at Amazon. We demanded Amazon do the right thing and improve the workplace for the workers who keep their company going. https://t.co/UIunt6v7GF

(3/4) This issue became even more important when three Amazon workers died in NJ. This awful tragedy didn’t add up to Amazon being "Earth's Safest Place to Work.” @RepFrankPallone and I called on @OSHA_DOL to investigate what is going on. https://t.co/YuL0rJLofE QT @DonaldNorcross: Today, Rep. @FrankPallone and I called on @OSHA_DOL to investigate the abnormally high rate of serious injury at Am… https://t.co/l32PIsjLQA)
() As the only @IBEW electrician in Congress, I take workers' safety very seriously. That’s why I look forward to tomorrow's @EdLaborCmte hearing on workers’ protections at corporations like @Amazon. Here’s a quick summary of my work:
Democrats have been fighting to make an economy that work for everyone by passing the Inflation Reduction Act, which cracks down on tax cheats and ensures that everyone pays their fair share. https://t.co/eJYfbRnDKT

30 years ago, polio was paralyzing 1,000 children in 125 countries every single day. Today, that number has fallen 99.9% thanks to the support of US frontline health workers and global partners. Let's keep it up and #EndPolio. #WorldPolioDay
I recently met with some constituents who are pushing hard for a cure for Parkinson’s. After hearing their stories, I cosponsored the National Plan to End Parkinson’s Act, which galvanizes @HHS to prevent and cure the disease. This is how government should work: for the people. https://t.co/tFnqqBvxeT
Expanding the Atlantic City Expressway is long overdue. Thank you to SJ Transit Authority for answering my call for the third lane in Gloucester and Camden Counties. This will make the roads safer and less congested. This will also provide good jobs for hard working families. https://t.co/MHF4CrhzhY
South Jersey’s own Kai Freeman recently made us proud by playing in the 2022 National Youth Orchestra at Carnegie Hall! Proud of his for making the most of this opportunity! #NYOUSA https://t.co/fF9u4QZkYx

The #Jan6 hearings have shined a light on how the Big Lie to caused political violence that has cost innocent lives and continues to threaten our democracy.
