Since I addressed the public yesterday afternoon, more than 200 people have died due to COVID-19. This is the highest number of COVID-19 deaths we have had in one day to date. These people were husbands, wives, grandparents, sons, and daughters. We are not out of the woods yet. https://t.co/R1YJKgYLOB
To get there, we all have to do our part. Nobody is immune to this virus. It doesn’t discriminate based on county lines, partisan lines, age, or socioeconomic status. One person who carries it can infect 40 people, who then can infect thousands more.
If you can, volunteer as a health care professional, give blood, or donate money to your local food bank. https://t.co/DNm8KUXYAw These unprecedented times demand unprecedented grit. We will get through this together. Stay home, stay safe.
If we’re going to beat this virus, we have to work together. Stay inside. Call your loved ones and make sure they are too. Only leave the house for essential errands like groceries or prescriptions.
