It's like running on Medicare For All to garner progressive street cred even though your plan is for a means-test public option. Either you have NO idea what you're talking about, or you're cynically using buzzwords to appropriate the progressive movement's shine.

There's a "progressive" running for Congress on a UBI platform but her proposal is means-tested & phases out for families earning >$70K & ends when the pandemic ends. BTW - that's not terrible. It's just not UBI & someone who really cares abt UBI knows that the "U" part is key.

The problem isn't General Milley. The problem is the cabinet and the Congress, both of which failed General Milley and others by failing to use impeachment or the 25th amendment to remove a clearly dangerous and unstable president from power.

We should never forget the precious souls lost on 9/11 and the families affected by that senseless attack. I will lift them up in prayer today, and I encourage you, in your own way, to remember the victims and their families and wish them comfort and peace today.
