I’m proud to have never proxy voted. It’s unconstitutional, was enacted during peak COVID to slow the spread, and since then over 90% of Congress has done it. Most Americans are expected to go back to work in person now. Members of Congress should be held to the same standard.

Low pay for our military is doing a disservice to those who serve to protect us. It's reprehensible. I've been fighting to get our servicemembers a pay raise since Day 1 and I won't stop until our heroes get the pay they deserve.

I also want to remember the thousands I served with during the decades-long War on Terror who died to keep our nation safe following 9/11. We also will never forget their sacrifices.

21 years ago today, thousands of Americans were killed by acts of pure evil. While horror unfolded, we saw brave men & women put themselves in danger to save whoever they could. God bless the fallen & God bless all those who were called to serve. We must #NeverForget.

And yes, there will likely be more pallets of American dollars sent to Iran. This is not the “longer and stronger” deal candidate Biden promised – this is shorter and weaker. Yet another example of his “giving hope to the bad guys.” And he hopes no one says anything…

We need to pump the brakes on this one and have a full Congressional review.
