Bill Summary
Child Support Enhancement Act of 1996 - Amends part D of title IV (Child Support and Establishment of Paternity) of the Social Security Act to permit the appropriate State agency to garnish or attach amounts required to be paid by the United States or the District of Columbia to an individual pursuant to a judicial process in order to pay such individual's child support and alimony obligations.
