S.350: A bill to authorize payment of special annuities to surviving spouses of deceased members of the uniformed services who are ineligible for a survivor annuity under transition laws relating to the establishment of the Survivor Benefit Plan under chapter 73 of title 10, United States Code.

Directs the Secretary of the military department concerned to pay an annuity to the qualified surviving spouse of each member of the armed forces who: (1) died before March 21, 1974, and was entitled to retired or retainer pay at the time of death; or (2) was a member of the reserves during the period beginning on September 21, 1972, and ending on October 21, 1978, and at the time of death would have been entitled to retired pay but for being...
