Bill Summary
Medicare Beneficiary Liability Reduction Act of 2001 - Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to accelerate from 35 percent in 2007 to 20 percent in 2010 and afterwards the rate of reduction of beneficiary copayment liability under the Medicare hospital outpatient department prospective payment system.
