COPS in Schools Act of 2001 - Amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to direct the Attorney General to waive the community policing program requirement of a non-Federal contribution to the costs of a program, project, or activity that hires law enforcement officers for placement in public schools.
