Medicare Doughnut Hole Assistance Act of 2006 - Amends part D (Voluntary Prescription Drug Benefit Program ) of title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to count expenses for nonformulary covered part D drugs against the Medicare annual out-of-pocket threshold for costs for such drugs.
