Bill Summary
Department of the Interior Tribal Self-Governance Act of 2007 - Amends the Indian Self-determination and Education Assistance Act to revise tribal self-governance requirements. Authorizes the Secretary of the Department of the Interior, acting through the Director of the Office of Self-Governance, to select up to 50 new Indian tribes per year from those eligible to participate in self-governance.
