Bill Summary
Science Accountability Act of 2009 - Amends the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to require states to: (1) establish challenging academic content and student achievement standards in science, beginning in the 2010-2011 school year; and (2) measure the achievement of students in grades three through eight against such standards, beginning in the 2011-2012 school year.
