Title I: Tax Provisions - American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009 - Subtitle A: Making Work Pay - (Sec. 1001) Amends the Internal Revenue Code to allow individual taxpayers a refundable tax credit for the lesser of 6.2% of earned income or $500 ($1,000 for married couples filing jointly). Reduces the amount of such credit for taxpayers with adjusted gross income exceeding $75,000 ($150,000 for married couples filing jointly)....
