Hostage Recovery Improvement Act This bill directs the President to designate an existing federal officer as the Interagency Hostage Recovery Coordinator who shall coordinate efforts to secure the release of U.S. citizens who are hostages of hostile groups or state sponsors of terrorism. The Coordinator shall establish a federal task force with respect to each hostage situation, and report quarterly on each one. It is the sense of Congress...
