(This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The summary has been expanded because action occurred on the measure.) (Sec. 1) This bill grants the Department of Transportation sole authority to appoint Federal Directors to the Board of Directors of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). The signatory parties to the WMATA Compact shall amend it to reflect such authority.
