Credit Information Protection Act of 2017 This bill amends the Fair Credit Reporting Act to require, after a data security breach, a consumer reporting agency to provide a security freeze to a consumer upon request. (A security freeze prohibits the consumer reporting agency from releasing a report without the consumer's express authorization.)
