Bill Summary
Expanded Access to Opioid Abuse Treatment Act of 2017 This bill amends the Controlled Substances Act to allow a pharmacist who meets specified criteria to be a qualifying practitioner who may administer, dispense, or prescribe narcotic drugs for maintenance or detoxification treatment in an office-based opioid treatment program.
