Bill Summary
A Fast-Tracked Executive Rescission Review (AFTERR) of Appropriations Act of 2018 This bill amends the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 to establish expedited legislative procedures for congressional consideration of rescissions proposed by the President. (A rescission is legislation that cancels the availability of previously enacted budget authority before the authority would otherwise expire.)
