This bill establishes that only U.S. citizens or nationals shall receive certain federal assistance benefits. To establish eligibility, an individual shall provide evidence of citizenship or nationality status and attest to that status when applying for assistance. The restriction applies to (1) all federal benefits where eligibility is based on the income or resources of the recipient, except for those based on tax law; and (2) benefits...
