Bill Summary
This resolution urges Brazil and the United States to investigate human rights abuses in Brazil and reduce deforestation of the Amazon. The resolution also calls on the United States to suspend military assistance to Brazil unless the Department of State determines that measures are being taken to ensure human rights.
