This resolution states that nationals of Afghanistan who are at heightened risk of persecution by Taliban forces due to their affiliation with the U.S. government or civil society organizations should be recognized and honored. It also states that the United States should commit to facilitating safe travel to the United States for nationals of Afghanistan (and their family members) who are eligible for priority designation as refugees.
