  • FY 2015 budget proposals and appropriations. Advocate for funding that will help meet future water needs, attend to our nations aging water infrastructure, and help address extreme drought. Track appropriations bills in progress for both the house and senate.
  • S. 1800, Bureau of Reclamation Transparency Act. Discused aging infrastructure with congressional and agency staff to determine this legislations potential effects on water users. S.1946, To amend the Reclamation Safety of Dams of 1978 to modify the authorization of appropriations.   • H.R. 935. The reducing regulatory burdens act. Ensure congressional members and staff are aware of NWRA members support for H. R. 935 and their concern about unnecessarily duplicative and costly regulations.
  • Clean Water Act - work with Congress and Federal Agency Partners to make sure that water users are able to continue delivering clean water and determine the appropriate extent of federal jurisdiction. H.R. 5078, Waters of the United States regulatory overreach protection act. Met with congressional staff to game A better understanding of the bill and how it would affect water supply and water users.
  • Food Safety Modernization Act. Work with FDA and Congress to ensure that the implementation of the food safety modernization act will safeguard food supply and consider the importance of applied irrigation and on farm best management practices.
