  • Met with Jessica Merritt, Congressional Aide for Rep. Mike Quigley, (July 23, 2018) to discuss several issues affecting the real estate management industry, including H.R. 620, the ADA Education and Reform Act. We discussed our concerns with ADA drive-by lawsuits and asked the legislator to support a notice and cure provision. We also discussed the challenges many property owners and managers are facing regarding tenants fraudulently claiming to have an emotional support animal and request guidance to help clarify what is required.
