Prior to joining GSA, Leieritz was senior media relations manager at Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) in Washington, D.C. In that role, he led the association’s external communications, oversaw internal communications and social media and coordinated communication between the association’s 70 chapters. Prior to his work at ABC, he served in several positions - from staff assistant and clerk, to director of new media and deputy press secretary - with the U.S. House of Representatives Small Business Committee. Leieritz, a native of Redlands, Calif., earned a bachelor of science in business administration and a bachelor of arts in political science from San Diego State University. He is also an alumnus of the Panetta Institute’s Congressional Internship Program.
