State Data
Illinois’ enforcement staff numbers declined in 2005 due to layoffs. All numbers are based on a fiscal year. Enforcement actions reflect notices of violation and director’s decisions. Illinois’ total wells come from World Oil’s annual count of total oil and gas producing wells.
