Project Goals

Transportation infrastructure remains a top priority as to reconstruction efforts within Bamyan Province. If the PRT's goals are to be achieved with regard to improving transportation infrastructure, this road must be rehabilitated. The leaders of the Panjab District declare this project as a much needed resource.

26 Feb 11 - Project approved by board. PM on R&R leave.

26 Mar 11 - PM/PPO surveyed entire road site. Took pictures and coordinated to start project.

02 Apr 11 - Initiated documentation for funding.

28 Apr 11 - Revisited site with engineers while enroute to Sang Sokhta.

13 May 11 - Updated and corrected documents for S9. Awaiting signatures for Letter of Construction, GIRoA, and Sustainment letter.

26 MAY 11 - CORRECTED ALL DOCUMENTS - AWAITING SIGNATURES FOR SUSTAINMENT MEMO, GIRoA, AND LICENSE FOR CONSTRUCTION.

20 June 11 - Received above signed documents.

15 July 11 - Updates added. Signed ADR was unable to be signed due to scanner being down. 

29 July 11 - GIRoA, Sustainment memo, and Licence for construction signed and uploaded in media. ADR updated.

10 August 11 - PM did not update this portion of the ADR. Correction made and resubmitted.

06 September 2011- Up loaded document, Project Management Plan.
