Project Description
Sidewalks, land-scaping, and an initial start-up budget for the Khost Womens Park
Project Goals
To improve the Womens Bazaar located in Khost city, which is for the exclusive use of women, and enhance their ability to shop without male relatives. It is also expected to generate local tax money. Sidewalks will be added throughout the park, as well as five new stalls for vendors. A manager will hired to run the facility, a security guard to protect the facility, and a grounds keeper to maintain the facility. After one year, it is expected that the park will generate enough money to sustain itself. Funds generated beyond operating costs will be taxed by the city, generating additional income for Khost City.
