Project Description
Contract provides for boring four(4)120 meter deep water wells that will provide potable water for the citizens of Delaram and businesses of the Delaram Bazaar. Included in the contract is a complete distribution system to include well pumps, housing for the pumps and pump generators and two 1000 meter underground distribution lines with a raised spigot every 50 meters. An additional eighteen(18)50 meter underground distribution lines will run a short distance down nine lanes off the bazaar and each will have one spigot. The system, once completed, will be turned over to five appointed trustees, all leading citizens of the town, for all operations and maintenance without any further funding from CERP.
Project Goals
Provide potable water for the citizens of Delaram and businesses of the Delaram Bazaar. Comments: Project will be beneficial to the people of Delaram and support building governance through the District Governor and Delaram Development Committee. On 7 Sept 2010, I MEF FWD C-9 Majors Lehman and Chio added the word "construction" to the project title in connection with a project to compile all vertical construction builds contained within the CERP database.
Results
Project complete; increased potable water in the commercial center of the city with the additional benefit of increased availability to all the citizens residing therein, those traveling along Routes 1, 606, 515 and 522 and increased commercial activity benefiting all the citizens of Delaram District.

Oct 20 2009 MSgt Hileman made payment of $14,994.97 USD on 9 October 2009. MGySgt Hileman made 2nd payment of $35,000.00 USD on 20 December 2009. 1/2/2010 Remark Spoke to Disbursing and started EFT to contractor for 3rd Payment. 2/19/2010 Water & Sanitation 3rd Payment received by Contractor via EFT. $35,000.00 USD / 1750000 Afg.
