Project Description
2-2 inf under previous CERP Manager drew $9,000.00 in Bulk as a fast financial solution for condolence payments, education, healthcare, and other humanitarian assistance or construction payments. Payment was used for battle damage incurred by Haji Noor Al. 6000 Afg was paid for a damaged wall and 5000 Afg was paid for damaged wheat crops. these payments were made on 26 May 2009.
Project Goals
The CERP battle damage payment is not an admission of legal liability or fault. Rather, these payments are gestures made by the US Armed Forces to express condolence to individuals and families. It is meant as a symbolic gesture and not as compensation for a loss.
