Project Description

During Operation Hero Recovery on 04-05DEC09, a building at MGSR 41 S NV 30303 37720 was taken over by Insurgent fighters. In the course of fighting, Coalition Forces were taking heavy contact from the house and the decision was made to drop ordnance on the building to relieve the pressure on Coalition Forces. The building was hit with a 500 pound bomb. The damage resulting from the blast was the leveling of the building.

An immediate response is needed to alleviate damage caused to the family by the loss of their home. Sustain the Pro-GiROA relationships that have been established in the village. Comments: The owner, Haji Gholam Hazrat, is an influential elder in Bala Murghab. If not funded, this will bring extreme hardship to his family of eleven.
