Project Goals
The placement of the CONEXs at four locations is fundamental to providing local community leaders with a way to speak to district representatives. Currently, there is no place within the local districts in which to interact with leaders. These new locations will afford the local community with sites of their own, thereby instilling public pride and optimism fir the future. In coordination with the PAT teams, community leaders have requested assistance as the current configuration for community members to discuss concerns with district leaders is hindered by a lack of ability to travel downtown Kabul. These community centers are designed to provide access to municiple leaders for the population in two districts.
