Reimburse property owner for damages caused by coalition operations.

Project Goals

Reimburse property owner, Alif Gul, for damages caused by coalition forces during counter IED operations. Comments: On 24 SEP 08, C-IED TM Salerno responded via rotary wing to a reported IED at 42S WC 49800 39600. During helicopter landing and takeoff, landowner Alif Gul had an estimated $40,000 Afghanis worth of harvested crops destroyed.

None. The precise closure date is unknown.

Apr 22 2009 Payment made 19 Mar 09 Feb 20 2010 The Condolence Payment is complete and requires closure. Payment was completed before the current PPO and PA (Capt Wilcox and MSgt Borca) were deployed to Afghanistan. Therefore, they cannot comment on the project although the PRT has not received any negative comments from Alif Gul.
