Project Goals

In support of the lines of effort (Governance, Economic and Infrastructure Development, ANSF Development, and Security), CERP funds are often needed to empower the local government, improve and develop existing infrastructure, and repair damages caused by coalition forces. Access to bulk funds is critical to our ability to be proactive and quickly reactive to the needs of Mohammad Agha District which is a Key Terrain District (KTD).

Results

The beautification the Mosque Kits provided was a great success in the eyes of the people. Because the people hold their religion in such high regard, the implementation of these kits was a measure that reinforces Afghan culture and values. Additionally, it demonstrates that CF are not an occupying force to limit their freedoms, rather CF encourage the freedom of religion. All Afghans involved displayed much gratitude.
