Project Description

To repair agrarian fields around Tarok Kalacheh destroyed by clearance operations on September of 2010.

Project Goals

During clearance operations in Tarok Kalacheh and Khosrow Sofla, the fields adjacent to roads leading to the villages were bulldozed in order to eliminate possible IED's; resulting in mounds of dirt, damaged trees and rubble in farmer's fields. This project will clear, repair and prepare the damaged fields to be replanted. Repairing the fields and replanting in the areas affected by the clearance operations will demonstrate GIRoA's and ISAF forces commitment to repairing damages caused by operations. Comments: CTF TOP GUNS has coordinated directly with the Arghandab District Governor (DG) on multiple occasions IOT identify and address projects that would improve the lives and the social economic conditions of the people of the Arghandab River Valley.
