Project Goals

Background: The roads throughout Bamyan are in poor condition. This road allows for better trafficability of the local populace as well as economic growth for the Afghan people. This is also a road that will connect Bamyan to other Provinces as it goes towards the western border.

Goal: A new road that increase trafficability and decrease travel time to allow the local people to transport their good to various regions and bazaars throughout Bamyan.

 Comments: This project requires the Contractor to construct a 39.23km road with a 7m gravel roadway width with 1m gravel shoulders on either side for an overall width of 9m.
