Project Description
Line and install flow controls on the existing canal. The current canal liner is leaking and infiltrating water into the soil due to damage. This project is designed to reline the canal and construct improvements for the distribution of water for irrigation. Local farmers will significantly benefit from higher water capacity.
Project Goals
Increase water capacity for drinking water and irrigation water to agricultural fields.
Results
This project for the reasons above should not be be a CERP project.
