Project Description
Repair of existing road in or near Shergall village. REASON FOR PROJECT: This road repair will meet one of the primary needs of the local population to have unobstructed transportation from village to village in order to maintain relations and commerce within and outside the local area.
Project Goals
DESIRED PROJECT EFFECTs: The road repair will help to stimulate commerce and development in Shergall village by having a road capable of supporting Hilux traffic. Job opportunities for Shergall and the surrounding villages will be created by allowing the villagers to travel to outlying areas to find jobs. MEASURABLE EFFECTS: This road will have a multiplier effect on economic growth in the province by being able to reach from the smaller villages to the larger villages on the main road.
