Project Goals
The goal of this project is to add a measure of protection to the entrances to these 3 gas staions. Currently the entrances are extremely wide and a wall and sidewalk would help channel the traffic into the driveways which will be formed on the east and west of these walls. At this time traffic pulling into these stations just cuts across the roadway into the entrance withouit any orderly or safe way to do so. This is causing oncoming traffic to have to avoid collisions with the offending vehicles. Also the intent is to install 10 solar lights along with the walls and sidewalks to illuminate these entrances during hours of darkness. The lights will be placed at 25m intervals alongside the sidewalk. The walls will be approximately 1.25m high and the sidewalks will be 2 m wide. The walls will be painted a color to match the overall area. The 3 walls and sidewalks will have a combined length of approximately 240m. Station 1: 40m long Station 2: 120m long Station 3: 80m long
