Project Description

This project is to refurbish and upgrade the current clinic next to the Mata Khan DC. Clinic is an important source of health care in the area.

Project Goals

The need for this clinic refurbishment was requested through the Provincial Developmental Council. This clinic refurbishment will benefit 10-20,000 people in the area and the improvements will take place in tandem with a school refurbishment next door, therefore having a compounded positive impact on the publics perception of the governments ability to improve conditions. Comments: This was orginally a project the PRT took on due to a request by the PDC council. Since it is in an area of emphasis of combat command, the project was transferred to the 1-506th S-9.

Results

The renovations were almost complete. All that needs to be done is to install the generator and wire it to the clinic. The Mota Khan Pay Agent will find a local electrician and have him finish the job.
