Project Description

The purchase of 140 plastic prayer beads (105, 33 counts and 35, 100 count) from a local vendor on FOB Shank at the total cost of $125 USD.

Project Goals

The main goal of this project is to enable members of the local population to practice their faith during Ramadan. By helping them to accomplish this, relations between us and the local villages will improve, further pushing us to achieve our non-lethal objectives in AO Support.

Results

Through this project, we helped encourage and enable the local Afghani people throughout AO Support to practice their faith as the season of Ramadan approaches. This not only showed our support for the Islamic religion but also helped us in our efforts to foster a stronger personal relationship with both the locals and village leaders in our AO.
