Project Description

On 31 October 2009, a local Madrassa and adjacent mosque in the Chergotah area were damaged by Coalition Force's attack helicopters when they engaged AAFs seeking refuge in the madrassa. 

As a sign of good faith, and to address grievances of the local community. TF Steel has agreed to pay for repairs of the building.

Project Goals

1. Repair damaged corner of madrassa. 

2. Repair multiple holes in roof and walls of madrassa and adjacent mosque (size of holes approx 4 inches to 24 inches. 

3. Replace the windows of the two buildings. 

4. Repair damaged awning on madrassa.

Results

Madrassa repaired.
