Government can only hand out trillions in green paper by running the printing presses, devaluing every dollar in circulation, wiping out our savings and driving up the prices of good and services in the economy.

Where will the green paper come from? Tax receipts will drop as economic activity declines. International borrowing will decline as economic partners manage their own #covid19 outbreaks.

There is nothing magic about these green pieces of paper. They do not feed people or put roofs over anyone’s head. Their only value is the ability to be exchanged for production in the economy. I am hearing from conservatives who believe the threat posed by the Corona Virus is all hype because they have seen disgusting efforts by the national media and Washington politicians to politicize the threat to score political points.

Both of these things can be true: 1. The Fake News Media and Democrat politicians are politicizing a perceived health crisis for partisan purposes. 2. The Corona Virus pandemic is a real health threat to the American people, just as it has proven in Italy and China.

Medical experts say Corona Virus appears 10x deadlier than the flu. That means a 1% fatality rate that, without a proactive response, could result in 200k - 500k deaths across the U.S. In perspective, that would be the #3 leading cause of death behind heart disease and cancer.

The greatest danger posed by the Corona Virus presents is to the elderly and those with underlying health conditions. Please take proactive steps to protect yourself and combat the spread of the virus — wash your hands, cover your mouth, and stay home if you feel ill.
