Construction of the DCN building for Farah City
Project Goals
The DCN Building is the first listed priority of the governor and Provincial Council. The DC?N is fully supported by the Minister of Communications and USAID has already accepted to purchase the necessary equipment for the building. Besides providing cell phone, internet and fax capabilities to people within the district, the DCN has several benefits; first, the DCN will generate additional revenue for the GoA. Second, the DCN will provide a means for shop keepers to communicate with their suppliers, facilitating increase in commerce. Finally, the DCN will establish Roshan communications between the local populace.
