Project Description

This project would create a 17km paved road from Ghazni Center to the Tormay Road in the District of Kwaja Umari.

Project Goals

Reason for Project: This project will construct a paved road from Ghazni Center to the Kwaji Omari District Center. The road serves numerous purposes which are aligned to the RC-East Development Strategy. Kwaji Omari is currently scattered with orchards and farmland but has no way of transporting its products to a large market without spoilage. The road will also tie in the District Center to Ghazni City.

Desired Project Effects: The road will increase the delivery of quality produce to Ghazni City, increasing the Cities food supply as well increasing the farmers economy. The road will also tie in the district center increasing the governance in the district.

Measurable Effects: The road will increase the quality of product delivered to market by two fold and increase the amount reaching market by three.
